3D Scanning Jewellery
Today’s jeweller’s are likely to be architects or industrial designers so that traditional methods of jewellery design is not an option, however with the latest in 3D scanning technology jeweller’s are now able to benefit from the advantages of 3d laser scanning. Time constraints and increased customer expectations are no exception when it comes to designing jewellery.
Using one of our specialized 3d laser scanning systems Wysiwyg 3D engineers were able to capture the unique details and features of the opal with an accuracy of 0.01mm. Data was then exported as an STL file ready to be 3D printed in wax.
